Prototyping is an essential part of the process used to evaluate and iterate your concept and our design, to communicate to your customers, and to prepare for large-scale manufacturing. DA utilizes in-house FDM and SLS 3D-printers for rapid prototyping and small-scale production, and we leverage our network of external suppliers for large-scale rapid-prototyping and fabrication.

DA helps customers ensure their products can handle environmental stresses by performing engineering analysis. Whether we are assisting with the full design or troubleshooting an existing innovation, we have the know-how and technical resources to support your project.

Our process begins by understanding your system and constraints, including the concept of operations (CONOPS), operating conditions, and any known failure modes (in the case of existing systems). Common examples include products that must tolerate challenging environments, such as large temperature ranges or potential for water/dust ingress; as well as internal or external stimuli during operation, including vibration, shock, mechanical stress/strain, EMF, RF, and heat. DA can help obtain this information for existing systems by integrating sensors and analyzing the output.

Next, we will model your system appropriately for analysis which may mean 2D/3D CAD modeling or mathematical modeling, depending on the needs. Finally, we will perform engineering analysis to inform and validate our solutions.
